Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I was born and raised in our nation’s heartland which spawned my desire to improve mental health services in underserved and rural areas. I possess experience within a multitude of diverse settings including outpatient behavioral health, acute care, correction institutions, case management, critical care nursing, with added expertise and clinical Certification in Diabetes Education and Support. I have a thirst for research and explore cutting edge, evidence-based and innovative approaches to provide effective treatment. My education and experience allows for the identification of unmet physical and mental health needs through the development of individual interventions via collaborative and patient centered care. It is my desire to support those on the verge of giving up and propel them towards their best life.
